Yesterday was such a wonderful day. Jon took the day off work to celebrate our anniversary. He took Felicity and I to breakfast, went shopping, and set up the gift we chose together for our anniversary. Instead of spending a lot on gifts for each other, we each got small presents for each other and chose bigger gift together. We have been wanting an outdoor rock fountain for our backyard. When we realized that the fountain had three levels, we decided it was the perfect gift to celebrate our three years of marriage. It was such a perfect day. We just spent the day being together and doing the things we love to do. One of the best things about our marriage is this little princess.

Felicity's First Trip to the Zoo
We were so right. She loved it!
Her expression looking at baby Zuri the elephant is priceless. The elephants were her favorite.
She wasn't too sure what the think of all the dinosaurs though, especially the one that sprays water.
Felicity loved riding around on Daddy's shoulders.
The giraffes were her second favorite animal.
What a fun day. Who wants to go to the zoo???

Thankful
Tomorrow is our anniversary, and I wanted to tell those who might not know how amazing Jon is why I am so blessed to be married to him. He has such a great sense of humor and is always making me laugh. For one so young, he has so many skills. He's very handy, can mow, trim, and edge the front AND back yard in less than an hour and a half, plays with his daughter for hours on end (of course, making her laugh in a way that no one else can), heart of gold, caring, loving, resourceful, a kid at heart... I could go on for days. I'll spare you all the mushy stuff, but I want the world to know that I love my husband and I am so grateful to have him by my side to enjoy the moments of today and the rest of eternity.
I love you Jon a ten!

Easter
We took Felicity to the Herriman Easter egg hunt. She was much more interested in the bunny than picking up eggs!
She did look beyond adorable though. With a little help from Daddy, she managed to get a few eggs in her basket.
Is it just me, or is she sooooooooooo cute?
Easter morning, opening Easter baskets with Daddy.
Coloring Easter Eggs
Modeling her Easter dress... isn't she an angel?
Having a precious little one like Felicity makes a wonderful day priceless.
Sitting with Grandpa Cozad and Kris
Kissing Turk and playing with Uncle Jordan
Looking pretty with Aunt Erica
And Aunt Heather
It was a wonderful Easter and I am so grateful to live by family, so that even though I am far away from my parents, we can still spend the day with people who love our daughter. We wish you could have been here Smoot family! We love you.

Felicity's New Princess Bed
She LOVES it! It was definitly worth the wait. I saw this bed before I married Jon and fell in love with it. Since the day we found out that we were having a girl, I've been DREAMING of getting it.
It's so big that it's difficult to get a picture of it because it takes up a majority of the room, but hopefully you get the idea.
It is so adorable to see her crawl up into her bed. I can't believe how quickly our baby girl is growing up.
And Felicity lived happily ever after.

More Cruise Pictures
Felicity with Pluto. He was the best character by far. He treated Felicity so well and gave her so much attention.
All the Cozads
Felicity and Gram'pa eating ice cream. I'm not sure who enjoyed it more!
The beautiful, gorgeous, amazing Castaway Cay. Nooo -- this picture wasn't altered. It really is that beautiful. I wish our cruise would have gone straight here and stayed for two days instead of the first stop.
Felicity swimming in foreign waters -- there was a fish bigger than her that swimmed right by. She wasn't scared, but I think she liked playing in the sand better - which really surprised me since she loves water so much.
Chillin...
Gram'pa pushing Gra'ma and Felicity.
We were sad to leave the island. Hopefully we can come back someday. Jon felt really sick that day, so after a paddle boat ride in the ocean, he went back to the ship to sleep. The day wasn't the same without him. We still had fun though.
