Nothing to Blog About!!!

I haven't taken pictures lately and I don't have anything SUPER exciting to report... So here is a quick update on what The Cozad's have been up to.

- Jon is 7 months away from graduation. He is so smart and I'm excited he's doing so well.

- I start school next week -- To get my Master's degree. Oi... Not looking forward to homework! I already grade hundreds of papers a week -- now I have to do it too??? hehe

- We went to a Corn Maze on Friday. It was fun!!! Jon was in a hurry to get to the haunted part because he knew I'd be scared... He was right.

- We just celebrated our 4 month wedding anniversary! That's a third of a year!

Update on Mom...

My sweet Momma...

As lots of you probably know, my mom has been in the hospital for over a week. I just wanted to update you. She is finally out of ICU. She can finally breathe on her own. She has an infection in her back. She went to about 15 doctors over the past 3 months complaining of back pain. They sent her home with muscle relaxers and pain killers - saying it was just normal back pain. One doctor even sent her to a therapist, saying the pain was all in her head.... JERKS!!!!!

Anyway... the infection, since none of the doctors took the time to find it, got so bad that she has a hole in her back. No wonder she was in so much pain!!! That built up bacteria which gave her an infection in her bowels, and continued to grow until the bacteria was so thick she stopped breathing and went to the hospital. Luckily, she has a great hospital doctor who is really thorough.

It's so hard to be away from her! Jon and I are planning to go see her the first of October -- or maybe Thanksgiving, depending on what happens. She might have to have back surgery -- again -- and maybe something done with her knee. Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers.

Well, my Susie brags about me so much, I feel I should brag about her! She is the biggest sweetheart ever! She has a heart of gold. In the almost 4 months we've been married, I haven't found one fault in her.

She cooks the greatest meals, and tells me she loves me about 50 times a day! She cares for me when I'm sick and worries about me when I'm not. I want her to know how much I love her and I can't imagine my life without her. She's the best!!
