Sweetheart

Can I just brag about my husband for a minute? He is the most amazing husband ever! Anyone who knows me knows I'm a little bit of a sensitive soul. Jon is always doing little things that make my day. He brought me flowers last week, makes steaks on the grill (because he knows I LOVE it!!!), etc. A few weeks ago, I came home and Jon was at work. He called and told me to go look in the fridge. I thought it was a strange request but... I did anyway. When I looked in, he had purchased about 10 home grown tomatoes arranged in a heart shape with a note that said "I love you." He knows how I LOVE home grown tomatoes! As soon as I get down to 5 tomatoes, he immediately goes out to get more. Anyway, I wanted to share, in pictures, just a few of the reasons I'm sooo happy I married Jon. I love him sooooo much!!!!!!!!!
We LOVE to play games. After playing Jenga, even though I won, which rarely happens, my sweetheart created this. Isn't he adorable???

Jon and I go to the temple twice a month. I'm so glad I married a man who shares my love for the temple. It has truly made our marriage stronger.

Jon grilling hamburgers on our first camping trip. YUMMY!!!!

PS -- guess what?!? I'm back in school again. I'm finally starting my masters degree!!! It was a long process, but I was officially accepted and I start October 1st. Jon has been in school for a few weeks now so we'll be pretty busy over the next year!

Honeymoon

Jon and I went to Florida for our honeymoon. We stayed a week in a really nice 5 star resort. We both had so much fun -- and I for one didn't want to come home! It is nice to be back in the mountains though -- and LOTS cooler and less humid!
Jon's first trip to Sea World
At one of the Disney Parks -- I think it was Hollywood Studios
Jon in front of our favorite ride -- The Hulk... SO much fun!
This was our pool at the resort. Gorgeous!

Bridal Shower

I know... This is a little late. I'm just now posting for my bridal shower. Anyway, my awesome, amazing friend Melinda is responsible for how wonderful everything turned out. She went above and beyond. Heather and Erica were a lot of help too! I had so much fun and we had a great turn out. Everyone created wedding thank you notes -- before they left, they completed over 100!!! Thanks everyone!
Legacy Springs Singles Ward Friends
Kendra -- came all the way from Provo!
And my AMAZING Melinda who organized everything!

There are more pictures but I ran out of room.

Happily Ever After

So... It's been a little while since I've posted. Sorry... I've been enjoying life as a married woman. I never dreamed it could be so much FUN to be married! Jon is amazing. He is such a sweetheart. He knows how I HATE to take out the trash -- and in 7 weeks of living together, I've never had to take out the trash ONCE!!! Anyway, just to update you, here are a few of the thousands of pictures from our wedding.

Proud

I want everyone to know how proud I am of my handsome fiance. He was ordained to be an elder last week. He is such an amazing man and I can't wait to spend my life by his side. Good job baby! I love you.

Challenged....

So I have a few challenges... I'm vertically challenged... I can't kiss my handsome husband unless I stand on a chair. Luckily, he likes to kiss me and is willing to bend over for a kiss. And of course, I have challenges with my students. This time of year, 5th graders start turning into tweens... that's a challenge for ANYONE to deal with one... But 31 tweens?!?

The reason for this post? I'm camera challenged... I can't take a picture of myself!!! LOL... I noticed this in the 3rd picture in our Wedding Registry post. My goal is to perfect taking pictures and being in them at the same time. I'm hoping to figure out to use the self-timer on my new camera. Until then, here is my first attempt. Pretty good -- now if I could fit two faces in... Hmm... I wonder if I had longer arms if it would be easier. LOL

Wedding Registry

A few weeks ago, we registered at Target. It was fun to watch Jon! He was adorable and is quite talented with the "gift zapper." I found a really nice crockpot and he checks the registry online regularly to see if anyone has gotten it yet. He's such a sweetheart.
We had a hard time deciding what to register for. We've both lived on our own for a while and have collected everything we need. We have 4 tvs between us but really want a big screen. Anyway, we decided to register for it, even though we know we'll never get it!!!
